UPCOMING EVENTS:
  • JUNE 8, 2019, 9:00am-Noon - ALLSTATE Donors Appreciation Event - We will co-host a Donors Appreciation Event with ALLSTATE INSURANCE , at the South Florida Water Management District Headquarters, 3301 Gun Club Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. There will be a 15 minute slideshow presentation showing results from our projects, a meet and greet with the CDWT Board Members, a hands-on demo with our water pumps and water filters, a guided nature walk with an Everglades biologist where we will spot birds, alligators and native plants and fun activities for everyone. Join us for this fun event so we can THANK YOU in- person.

PAST EVENTS:
  • MAY 31, 2019, 4:00pm-5:00pm - 2019 IHE Water Professionals Program - CDWT was honored to have been invited to present to the 2019 visiting delegation of students from IHE University in Delft, Netherlands. IHE is a United Nations sponsored educational program that trains future water leaders from developing countries. They are pioneers in creating a global water learning network. We will delivered a 30 minute presentation to the students on May 31 at the SFWMD headquarters, 3301 Gun CLub Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33406
  • May 6, 2019, 5:30-7:00PM - 100PalmBeach - We presented to 100PalmBeach.org as one of three groups competing for a grant from the charitable support organization. We gave a 7 minute presentation at the UBS Financial Services, Inc. Palm Beach City Place Tower, 525 Okeechobee Boulevard, suite 1500, West Palm Beach, FL and we were chosen as the winning charity. We received $4,300, or $100 from each member of the organization.
  • December 13, 2018 - SFWMD Employee Committee Silent Auction - We held a one day silent auction fundraiser silent auction in the lobby of SFWMD which included donated items and themed baskets donated by the employees of the South Florida Water Management District and area businesses. During the month of October we also gave presentations to the SFWMD field stations which included a pop-up shop where we sold items we brought back from Nepal/Cuba/Honduras/Haiti/Madagascar and we raised a total of $13,020.22.
  • November 15, 2018 - Lunch and Learn. Join us for a one hour presentation just 3 days after we return from our project in Nepal.
  • October 11, 2018 - Drinking Water Expo. Come see us at the headquarters of the South Florida Water Management District, 3301 Gun Club Rd, West Palm Beach FL 33406.

    Rick Miessau

    Rick is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 30 years experience supporting water resource projects for the State of Florida. He brings experience in information management, hydrology, website development, and project management. He holds undergraduate degrees in Oceanography, Engineering, and Information Management.

    Madhav Pandey
    Madhav is the co-founder of the Clean Drinking Water Team. Madhav has over 30 years of experience in the analysis of hydrological and meteorological data. He is certified in surface-water hydrology. He is a native of Nepal and serves as the international liaison on our projects.

    Robert T. Brown III
    Bob has over 30 years experience in supporting water resource restoration projects. He is a pioneer in Geographic Information Systems and geographic data management. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and served as CIO for the South Florida Water Management District.
